HORSESHOE RIM 4WD ADVENTURE TRACK
This 4WD track runs around the rim of the Horseshoe Range. There are two loop tracks, one for intermediate and one for experienced 4 wheel drivers. Magnificent views of the Flinders Ranges from Mt Remarkable in the South to Wilpena Pound in the north. Lookouts along the way provide many spectacular photo opportunities. A highlight is the challenging section to the top of Mt Stokes - the highest point in the Horseshoe Range. COST: $30 per car Limited camping is available for 4WD guests upon appointment.
JACK'S TRACK NEW TRACK OPENED CLOSE TO QUORN. Jack’s Track has only recently been completed, and is due to open for Easter 2007. This track is suitable for beginner 4WD enthusiasts, as it is relatively easy going and only takes an hour or so to complete with fabulous scenery. This track starts at the Carn’s Quorn property 6km south of Quorn and winds its way around the hills that make the eastern side of the Richmans Valley. Great views can be seen of the township of Quorn, Richmans Valley, Devils Peak, Willochra Plain, and in the distance the Horseshoe Range and Wilpena Pound. COST: $15 per Car
